That's a nice idea too. No, I was just making a play on words with graduate, since your DD will graduate, you can too. But I do like the idea of the two of you cheering her on in your old age.
Yoyo, I thought of another assisgnment for your class that might mean alot. I read this somewhere, so I don't deserve any credit. the teacher had her class write something they liked about each person in their class. Then the teacher put all the comments for each student on their own page to keep.
All of these students gathered at a funeral for a former classmate that died in the Iraqi War. His parent brought to the teacher a folded piece of paper. The soldier had kept it all these years and had it with him when he died. With tears in her eyes the teacher looked at her former students and they were all taking out the sheets of paper she had given them all those years ago.
Just an idea and a definite confidence booster.

DD20 came over last night. She told me about H's bizarre behavior on his birthday.
Friday night when we went to the ballgame I mentioned his b-day that was coming up on Tues. I asked if he would like to do something with the girls and I on the Sunday afternoon or wait until his actual b-day. He said I'm not having a b-day this year. I thought he was making a joke like we all do. I didn't push the issue though.
Tuesday afternoon I called and wished him a happy b-day. He said I told you I wasn't having a b-day. I said okay happy unb-day. I still thought he was just joking around and asked if he was free for a b-day dinner, if not I was going to take DD17 shopping for her homecoming suit. He said he still had a lot to do at work and to go on to take her shopping. His mood seemed to be okay. Not happy, but not mad either.
Last night I found out that I was lucky I didn't have to be around him on his b-day. DD20 said his b-day "celebration" started at 6:30 am with a phone call to her waking her up. He was griping her out. He asked her why she put the sign up on the fence at his office. She said he was ranting and raving and she told him that she had no idea what he was talking about. He said there was big sign on his fence wishing him Happy B-day. He thought she and her sister did it, he probably thought I was in on it too. She finally convinced him they did not do it. She later arrives at his office to work to find out that he also went off on the secretary/ow accusing her after he found out his daughters didn't do it when she arrived at work. Finally the real culprit was found. It was his mother, sister, and aunt. Once he found out he called and went off on his mother.
Apparently he made quite a spectacle of himself. A few of his employees were there when he arrived and found the sign. The employees were telling DD and secretary about it. They decided to rewind the security tape and watch it. DD said her dad ripped the sign down and the 3 employees there had very bewildered looks on their faces. One of the employees said he was also cussing during all of this.
H got very mad because on the sign it said his name and happy 45th b-day. DD20 said what's the big deal, you could be older, at least everyone knows you're not.
Wow!!!!

Hun...I think the world of you, you know I do.
How is this changing your strategy? How is this changing the "yoyo" ecosystem?
Hmmm....could be MLC. Whoa. I thought 45 was still young. Good luck when he turns 50. I like the part where he went off on OW about the sign. I'm surprised she wasn't in on it with his mother. They are such good friends.
