The best tip I have is the one I shared on Charlie's thread...about how, there is a thing that happens to your body when you learn to enjoy being just a little bit hungry. It can actually make you a little bit "high". I'm not talking about starving yourself. I'm talking about just an edge of hunger.
When you feel that edge of hunger, that is when your body has to consume fat, because if you don't feed it food while you are hungry, then it turns to its "other" food source - - your fat cells. This is what the body is designed to do.
I don't mean starving or being very hungry, because then the body cannot efficiently burn fat cells and instead it (out of desperation) start to eat your muscles and organs. Obviously this is not good for you.
But being just a little bit hungry IS good for you.
So that's the biggest tip. If you can get to that point where you are a little hungry still even after eating a meal...and if you can go with that feeling and feel that little bit of hungry for several days in a row...eventually you will begin to like it. This is when the real weight loss begins. You have to sustain that little bit of hungry and actually enjoy it.
Again, this is different than starving, being very hungry, or feeling deprived.
