Ali - its clear you need help with the dog...but I don't think that's your ticket for weight loss...it has to be something consistent and easy.

I bought this thing:

http://www.theairclimber.com/

It gives you a workout similar to a stair master. It only weighs about 8 pounds. It is small and can hide in a corner. You can whip it out and do your 30 minutes on it anytime.

Another good thing to have around is a mini-trampoline. They are fun, and its way more fun than jogging. (Just make sure you get a good sport bra as otherwise your boobs really take a beating with that big jumping...I have found that I can't jump on the trampoline with my man around at all or else he can't take it after a few minutes and attacks me...LOL!)

Anyway the point is that it has to be easy and convenient.

The big dog needs discipline and you need to figure that out...but that is not easy and convenient for regular exercise.

The two suggestions above are good because you can do them when it is raining, when you don't feel good enough to go out to the gym, while you are watching your favorite TV shows....

One of the keys to successful weightloss is to make sure the exercise component is something that you enjoy doing...walking the lab doesn't seem like something you enjoy!

Just some suggestions! Hang in there!
