I am happy to share with you that on Friday I have a HUGE surprise for the kids and myself ! I have a adopted a dog !!! I adopted him through Rescue Dogs Europe, an organization that rescues dogs from horrible situations... The dog I have adopted is called Pluto and is a black and white Cocker Spaniel. He was found on a leash, with no warm place to sleep or roof over his head, he had been suffering from some eye infections and another illness, of which he is now recuperating well ! He is on his way over from Spain tomorrow and will arrive here on Friday !
I am so glad that I have decided to do this. It was easy to just go out and get the kids a puppy. Pluto however is 3 or 4 years old and deserves a loving home. I am happy that I will be giving him that. I feel good about what I am doing and feel that I can give something 'back' this way !
I am greatful for all the things we have in life, as we are very fortunate, and I felt that I should do may share in SHARING !
SO....kids don't know yet ! Hopefully Pluto will be here after school on Friday ! I'm sure my kids will love him to bits ! As will I !
