I've been pretty busy lately. I've had a meeting Monday night and last night I took DD shopping for her homecoming suit and hat. Believe it or not we found her suit in the first store we went to. She tried on three suits and ended up getting the first one that she tried on. It is gorgeous. We were also able to find her a hat that matched perfectly. We now just have to find her a gown for the school assembly. So we are half way finished!
I wanted to catch everyone up on the latest with my H. He of course continues to baffle me. One minute he is telling me he doesn't see how we could work out and then here he comes again.
Last week we received a lot of rain from Gustav. On Tuesday parts of our city lost power. H called to check on DD and me to see if we had power, we did. It was a very brief conversation. Friday afternoon he called me and asked me what time the football game started that DD would be cheering at. Funny thing is that DD was at his house the previous night, I think he could have found out from her then or even called DD on her cell. We talked about if her dance squad was performing before the game or at half time. I then asked him if wanted to pick me up. He said "I can" in a very pleasant voice. DD20 and her friends came to the game to watch DD17 dance and then left. When we got back to my house DD20 and her friends were on the deck hanging out. H got out and talked to them and then we went in the house and he stayed about 45 minutes more. I told him I was going to the college game the next day with his cousin and wife. He seemed like he was a little surprised. The cousin's wife and I are very good friends. H asked me all kinds of questions about it. I think he was a little jealous.
