I completely understand the need to 'take a stand' for what you believe in. Tomorrow I plan to focus on the newbies.
Your hearts, your moral code etc....are all in the right place.
I am trying to phrase this and limit the bitch factor because for the most part, I don't think you intentionally try to sound condescending, sg.
I'm choosing to reply to your post even though I don't know who it was directed to or if it was a general post...
I personally don't have a "need" to take a stand for anything other than my husband.
It's my responsibility though to take stands such as the one I've taken today because do you know how many times people have taken a stand on MY behalf?
Too many to count.
More often than not, stands that I take do not win me any friends.
But nevertheless I take them.
I also don't need anyone here telling me whether or not my heart and/or moral code is in the right place.
I am really coming to believe that you look at all of us as just a bunch of broken vessels that need validation.
And if that is the case, you'd better check again.
For the record, I will now be focusing my attention elsewhere, as well.
