That sucked big time. Back to school night at the middle school for D12. Seeing all the parents there together was painful. Oh, it's in no way as painful as before. It's more like a very sharp knife between the ribs, the steel is so sharp, there is just a burning whereas before it was the rending tearing shredding of the chainsaw going slowing through the flesh.
W is sick or maybe sinus infection so a) she wants me to drive the kids to school in the morning and b) isn't up for what we had planned for Saturday. I'll see if there is something else to do on Saturday that is fun and gives us an opportunity to spend time together without giving me lots of empty space where I would be tempted to fill it with R talk and especially accusations of infidelity that she is currently denying. I'm not ready for that conversation yet and certainly not on a day that she is spending with me for my birthday.
I'm breathing, but, I may need some fermented agave to help tonight.
