Good morning. Today is D13's birthday so she is now 'officially' 13. Two teenage girls in my house! Oh No!
W came by this morning to pick up D17 for school and she went up to D13's room to wake her up and wish her a happy birthday. I was in the kitchen already getting the morning chores done with D17.
W had one of those little mylar Happy Birthday balloons on a stick and wanted it to be standing up in the kitchen but she couldn't find something to put it in. We have a bowl with various fruit on the counter all the time and so she stuck it in a banana.
I made fun of her for doing that and she laughed.
I was surprised that she didn't stick around afterwards. She left and came back a half hour later to pick up D13 for school. We joked about how we now have two teenagers.
D13 asked me if mom was coming over for dinner tonight and I told her 'of course, we're all going to be here for your birthday'.
I'm just having fun today. I don't know why I feel like this but it's good.

sorry i didn't call back, early night last night for big poppa. now i'm going to fix my garage door using screws and a block of wood. i should live in virginia with all this crazy @$$ "fixing" and plastic burning that i been doing the last few days. who needs money when you have wood, screws, and a fire pit

I'd like you to get a little skinny book called How to Save Your Marriage Alone by Ed Wheat. He defines and describes love as Paul discusses it in I Corinthians 13. He goes into depth about agape, or unconditional love. This is where you are. Your love is no longer a feeling. It must be a conscious, deliberate act. What your W says or does no longer has any bearing on what you do. The story of Hosea is also in there. And, that book is where my sig line comes from.
Ill vouch for this book too Frank it helps me out a lot!! Matter of fact I liked it so much I went and found a used copy of the entire book of "love life for every married couple from which the mini book came from.
