Oh thats awful All, no once we get a pet its ours for the duration, sometimes to its chagrin lol Growing up we had our dogs 13-16 yrs how ever long they lived my cat i had when i was single living alone i brought home and left when i got married, she lived to 21. So yup, they are for life.
