Acted like an idiot. We were young.... She was 17 and I was 22. It was easy. Got her flowers every other day. Cards, gifts... Took her places, and paid attention to her. Loved her.

I don't know what to do... keep an open door policy. Be firm. Be nice.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAM. Right there, act like an idiot. Like when you were young. Chicks love that stuff. Let go, loosen your belt. Don't show up to the Ice Cream shoppe in bike shorts or anything like that, but it's how you act. Another thing. Woman do not leave happy men.

Go to the store and get one of those cards with no words inside.
Do not say 'I love you', just think of a few genuine good things you would say about her, as a mom, as a friend.

Be genuine.

Then give it to her next time you see her AS YOU LEAVE.

Do not be there when she opens it.

If she calls you or texts you do not say anything except 'you're welcome'

NOTHING

THAT is an Alpha Male

It's starting to look like somewhere along the line Phil lost himself, like I did and other did.

When she saw that, she lost Phil. Now she's lost.

fig, as an English instructor you sure do not know how to read.

simile: a figure of speech comparing two unlike things that is often introduced by like or as (as in cheeks like roses) — compare metaphor

metaphore: a figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness or analogy between them (as in drowning in money); broadly : figurative language — compare simile

By definition according to MW.

As a amature theogian... You missed what I said too.

GOD AND MARRIAGE GO HAND AND HAND. That is why theology needs to be discussed when talking about marriage and divorce. It does not matter if there is a different Internet site for theology discussions.

I'm telling you that theology needs to be discussed with marriage and discussed to save them.

If we acting on our truly Godly principles there wouldn't be any divorce. No we act on our feelings.... poppycock BS!

we were asked my Sg not to get into a debate about theology...te=hat there is a sep. board for that.

I believe Barbie was merely abiding by the Mod's wishes and trying to redirct the conversation

and

i don't need to be right
