Lord, I ask that you provide your loving guidance to Frank and his family in this time of trial. I ask that you show him the righteous path, and provide for him the confidence to do the right thing, even when it is difficult. I ask that you reveal for Frank more strength and security in himself, so that he may care for the ones who depend on him. I ask that you give you a new heart and put a new spirit in Frank's wife; that you remove her heart of stone and give her a heart of flesh. And Lord, please protect the young and innocent everywhere. Protect Frank's children. We know you love them and will provide for them. Help us remember that our pain is not their pain; the sadness we feel is not the sadness they feel. Even if we are disappointed, Lord, remind us that children can have a happy light heart, and Lord, remind us daily that lighthearted children can offer a good lesson for all of us. All this I ask in Jesus' name, Amen.
