My bird has flown the nest, he had some funny stories to tell about his friends family helping them move. Its his friends first real time out and- well the family is very much a family who believes that there is no such thing as TOO MUCH toghetherness lol
Ex was over Sat. helping S move, yes he did rent the uhaul and help, he rushed, as it was saturday-, things to do , people to scre,,I mean see hey at least he was there right? funny how we give kudos for basic parent jobs to our WA...
oh and ex did have to let S and I know as he puts it, "how much I'm in the hole" for the kids education.
Geeze, Ry said yes dad I know you tell me every time I see you.
If you are going to help pay for your childs education , just do it and stop playng the guilt card on the kid!
I bit my tongue as long as I could and then said, well ex, I suppose that is about 4 trips to mexico isnt it?
They left thank God, as I can take ex in small doses only he helped Ry unpack the Uhaul, went to lunch w/ him and he was off!
B and I bought a couch and coffee table and I am so excited! We will pick it up Sat. our first "us" furniture lol and hes so easy going we work quite well at furniture shopping and have the same taste-lol thats important in a R! lol
That- w/ my great b.day barbque, my little nephews over swimming yesterday- and a nice dinner last night at my fav place w/ B, made for a very pleasant yet busy weekend.
Who has time for a job?? well I better if I want to buy anymore furniture! lol

Another tues, another looking for a job week. What fun! Dosnt look promising, May have to go the retail route for the holidays. uggh!! Ddint I vow I would never do retail again??
Had a great weekend! Everyone was down, Sisy poo family, B and my boy, We went bowling yesterday was sooo fun! Havent gone in years, B and I had a beer before not expecting to play just be cheerleaders but mom decided not to bowl the second game, sooooo here comes me. Didnt do half bad I must say. Poor dad fell down on his bad knee twice, gets up and keeps going tho.
All I could think was how ugly the shoes were and if my butt looked big whilst throwing the ball.
Picked up our furniture!! it looks great! love it love it! AND since the theme of my den is tropical, we found a 12 ft silk palm tree and yup, I gots me a tree in my den.
Birthday was wonderful, I am a lucky girl and blessed w/ great family and friends, I have to remember that during my next pity party. Even got a tm from ex. What a terrific WA he is!!! NOT lol

Hey Trip haha yea the dang place was packed too!! and here my sis is all of 100 lbs!! shes so tiny! and my turn is after hers Good golly! oh but the shoes, were my moms! lol from ,,,oh, 1975 i think lol light blue suede! The woman throws away nothin! we opened my parents bowling bags and they had the powder stuff and shoes and socks!! They havent been in a league since before I was married, so you can imagine! lol
It was fun tho, B and I are gonna go one day when he comes up on a friday.

Hey funny that you should mention the butt horrors. I was watching the news from the Republican convention yesterday and this lady walked through the shot with the camera on her butt the entire time. All I could think of was that this woman is going to go home, watch the news, & and recognize her butt (which seemed to be on camera for an eternity) and be so mortified. Luckily it was just her butt and not her face, but she'll know it's her. We women know our butts!

I used to bowl a lot with Ex when we were teens. Even had my own ball and shoes. I called them "Blueberry shoes"> I think they are the ugliest things on the planet.
I went bowling after ex left on a few occasions. Even had a bowling date. And I'm not really good but I did have fun. Must do that with Josh some time.
