Hope you're doing well after H's "cute" little antics!
Yep DS has known for some time. H dropped that bomb on him in a totally selfish and stupid manner, no changing it now, but it could have been done with a little more finesse.
I actually got a call from H today and he asked me if my stuff still hurt. I asked what he meant and he said, "your feelers" so I just replied that it didn't matter and he said if it didn't matter he wouldn't be asking. Then I told him I would be putting the $$ for the battery in his account and he said that I didn't need to. Buying me the battery was the least he could do and not to worry about it. I also got and ILY each time we have talked. Those used to be standard with him and in the last couple of months, it is a rarity. I don't make a big deal of it, but I noticed. Strange.
I don't know whether or not to be leery of MIL, but I can't help but think that she may do more harm than good and she has been acting really distant.
