I have no problem getting ready and it not showing up. If it does, we'll be safe, but will lose "stuff" and probably be pretty uncomfortable til things get up and running. Now I'm worried about flooding, but have a bunch of tubs, tarps and large garbage bags...yuk. I hate yukky stuff.
The noon report out of Covington said the north shore expectations are 35-75 mph winds late monday thru wednesday. That's a huge range. Lines at the centers where they are giving out sand bags have been steady since 7am. They are worried about a 9-12 ft.tidal surge (?) that they didn't worry about w/ Katrina? I need a translator. lol.
Now, if N comes home, what about Gustav's friend Hanna?
Argh.
I gotta get to a store before they run out of beer....
