As of now they aren't planning on evacuating on the north shore.
Accardo was on the news this morning (St. Tammany Emergency Management) and they just don't have time lines yet. They are meeting with the parish government at noon. Those in fema trailors and with special needs are going to be evacuated at some point. Probably. Maybe.
The weekend is supposed to be calm so nothing should happen while N is house-sitting. The way it's slowed down, that's pretty much a given, but it'll probably start raining (hard) on Monday.
Post offices have announced they're closing. No mail pickup/delivery from mailboxes after today at noon.
I hate watching it come towards us. There is just no way to know what will happen until it gets closer. Maybe.
