I don't know about your state, but in CA there was a deadline and by not signing the papers I remember there being negative consequences to me regarding assets and custody. Do you have an attorney yet? Get a very good one...

I personally believe if you don't sign it she will only be angry at you and want the D even more.

Once you get it just tell her you aren't signing it until you have your attorney go over it. This will buy you time.
