And Lola, It's pretty normal to have those feelings. I do. But then again who am I to say anything about it. You have done this for 11 months and I'm just about to finish month two.
In my motorcycle club the long and windy roads are the most satisfying.

The time frame doesn't matter. I think some sitch's resolve quickly if the people put the ideas into practice quickly. I just didn't. I wasn't ready for any of it. I knew from almost the very beginning I was supposed to back off and give him space. I did for the first three months. I did not call him at all, and he would call me about once a week-10 days. But the convo's were strained. Then, it started to get really good, and for a time we were talking almost every day. And then, BOOM, Lola opens her mouth and puts her pretty high heeled, jeweled shoe in it by taking the advice of a friend who told me to proposition him for sex, because all guys think of sex. Yeah. BAD IDEA. I cannot stress this enough. Whether you are male or female, DON'T SUGGEST CASUAL SEX TO YOUR WAS.
That was about 4 months ago, and we have had ups and downs, but are starting to come back a little. This time, I will be smarter, wiser, and just be patient.

Oh Lola patience is the worst I know I am approaching 4 months and must say that some days I do get discouraged because the last 4 months has felt like a year already. Thanks for the motivation to hang in there and the advice to back off!!!
I have sometimes questioned whether I am really learning patience or just a glutton for punishment...but thanks Sep!!!

I know!!! Sometimes I think we have too much fun for people who are technically in "mourning..."

I hear you there, I ran into a little of that trap myself last month. In the end I think it really put our R a few steps backwards. I've learned alot since then both about myself and our R.

Amy I agree. Laughter really gets me through, and honestly, I don't know that I wouldn't be where I am if not for all of you. It is better to be able to laugh. This, right here, is our support group.
