FIB - Just a little curious about this job. You need to spend 3 months in CA, but then will return to your home state? You will no longer be operating? Or will you just be doing a different kind of surgery? Will you be going into a different field of medicine? What are the plusses and minuses for you?
Living with a burned-out surgical specialist myself, I understand your pain (sort of). Just wondering what you are trading for. Be careful of thinking a change just for the sake of change will fix things. On the other hand, don't get stuck thinking you have to stay in the same rut your whole life just because you worked so hard to get into that rut!
