Okay so H called last night while I was in the orientation for the nursery careworker at church. It was about 1 1.2 hours later that I was able to call him back. GAL BABY GAL!!! I told him I was on my way home, and he never did ask where I was, but I am thinking he was probably wondering why I wasn't home at 9:00, am I right? Or wishful thinking?
He was just calling about the next insurance installment, and wanted to come by, but in the meantime had been called into work.
What is the significance? The first question out of his mouth when I called him back is How are you? It is nice to hear him ask me that. I realize that does not happen in other phone conversations I have with other people, unless it is someone I have not talked to for a while. I told him I was doing good, and asked how he was, he said okay. We talked a little about his job, and then he asked if he could come by at lunch. {{{Sigh}}} I was trying to make it so he would come by my apartment, but he has school tonight and is really broke. So I told him I could meet him at lunch, not a lunch date, but at least I will get to see him for a few!!
I have opted not to ask him to the company party. It is really just a tailgate party, not the football game, and it just doesn't feel right. We are finally getting to the point where we are talking a little again, and I don't want to overstep the boundaries.
