I'm feeling a bit better today, although still broody. Thank you for having so much confidence in me not needing to use a sperm bank- let's hope not (although it does take me ages to let anyone see my beaver even after I've decided I like them, and it's not that easy to ask men to give you a bit of sperm in a jar to get around that particular difficulty) Ali- Austin did suggest to CEO that he and I have children, but it provoked a running away response- really funny!
H sent me a short e-mail late this afternoon (he must have been about the leave work), saying he'd been busier today and was pleased about it, hoped my day had been good and then sent me a link to a football clip. The link was accompanied by some real teasing and joking so that was good. I replied before I left work with a counter-clip from YouTube, and a bit of joking back.
CEO was back from his holidays today, after two weeks away. He was very sweet and even though he was only in for an hour or so, came and sat with me for 30 minutes to have a chat about his hols and other stuff. It was nice to have him back in a way; he always gazes at me when he speaks (unlike H who looks around and away from me quite a lot). He was telling me about being on Newsnight (a BBC current affairs program) last week. He was very proud of himself for having been on TV, like a big kid. I was touched he told me though. I was the first to know, and I do love having inside information.
