Yes, I have been working this show since 1990 as the assistant to the musical director. I've been more involved since 2000. It's pretty fun, just a little hectic at times. Last year was really hard for me! At least all the musicians & the director knew what I was going thru & held me up when I needed it.
My H & I used to get all dressed up & go to the awards, it was so fun!!! The last few years I've had to be backstage & he couldn't go with me then, he did go to a couple of rehearsals with me.
I'm really trying to be strong b/c I do feel like I'm not supposed to give up. I'm trying not to hang on to that b/c I really don't want to keep thinking, well maybe next month or whatever. But right now I just can't give up completely. I guess I should but in my heart I can't. Do you understand what I mean? I don't think I even understand it.
Oh & by the way, True Thank you for the rain!!! LOL We are getting some from that tropical storm Faye. Some much needed rain. We do need the rain but it has also made me somewhat depressed.
