Once the D is final, I think a nice conversation with the elders in your church would be in order.
Arrange an appointment and sit in the office with them. Start looking around under your chair, around the desk, as if you are looking for something. They might say, "Are you looking for something." Your answer, "Yes, it seems that the whole bunch of you have lost your b@lls, I was hoping they might be in this office somewhere, but I can't seem to find them." And then leave.
