For the Guy with Kids and a WW 10

Hey, cool.

Going to do some sniffing during luch today.

Last night I missed the call from D11 again. I can't get used to my new phone. It was 11:30 by the time I realized she hadn't called. Missed it at 9:30. Two calls. Two VM's. D11 then D6.

I sent GBG a text that said,

Please tell the girls that I'm sorry that I missed their call. Give a kiss for me. I'll drop off the ins. info in the morning. Should I leave under the mat?


Her reply was,

No you can knock on the door. they are sound asleep bring julianas school supplies so she can leave them in the class room

I replied,

Ok. See you in the morning. Good night.


No reply back.

Didn't sleep well last night. Woke up about 4:45am. Got up at 5:15 and had a work out. Left the house and went to the apartment. GBG was sitting outside her apartment having a smoke and taking the dog out. She told me that I could just go in, so I did. I put the stuff on the floor and went to my girls room. My angels. I stroke D6 hair on the top bunk. I lie next to D11 and give kisses until she wakes up. BIG eyes of surprise. Hugs and talking. She misses me. I apologized for missing her call again. She scolds me. D6 wakes up. She's excited too.

GBG comes in and tells them good morning, too. She talks to me a little. She tells me the times for meeting tonight. She starts to tell me how the times overlap a little. Starts to go into how she thinks......I cut her off. I already know her. Make it more complicated than she has to.

"We'll go to D6 school first. We won't have to be there long anyway, then we just go to do D11's stuff. It'll be fine. We'll have plenty of time."
"Okay. Yeah."

She goes off and leaves me and the girls. They are hanging on me, talking about their day. D11 tells me that the beach trip is canceled. Will stay in Laredo from Friday until Sunday.
"Thats not fair. We didn't get to stay at the beach for two nights."
GBG yells from the other room, "Whats not fair?"
D11 says, "Nothing."

I notice coffee is ready and she makes herself a cup. What no offer of coffee for me? I was ready to decline her and everything.

GBG comes in to tell me that S14 is coming "home" today, too. I said "You mean here?" I explained that I was supposed to pick him up yesterday, but he had a friend in the hospital. GBG told me it was the friend he met on Myspace. I kept asking what was wrong with him. S14 stalled in telling me and now SHE is too.
She tells me, "Lo digo despues." For you gringos, thats Spanish for "I'll tell you later".


D11 catches it. She insists. She tells her finally,
"He, mmmmm, took too much medicine. Thats all." She gives me a look as she says it.

I start to explain to D11 how some people take too much medicine because they think it makes them feel better faster but that we can't do that. It makes us sick.

S14 does not need anymore drama in his life. Sounds like the friend OD'd or something. Will find out later.

I stick around for about 30 minutes. Not much talking to GBG. Mostly replying to her.

At work, Y called ME. Asked if I heard the news about her old bank. I told her that I had. We talked a little. She told me about her daughters swimming lessons, girl scout stuff and more. Says she'll see me at the office tomorrow.

I'll show up tonight looking good and smelling good, too. Gonna call a buddy and see if he wants to have a drink tonight.
