How's this for GAL? At first, I thought I couldn't swing it, but then I found one of those bargain-last-minute airfares and thought, WTH?
Impulsively, I just booked myself a spur-of-the-moment, three-day trip to Los Angeles to visit one of my oldest, best girlfriends who's there on her own spur-of-the-moment trip. She's staying in some nice hotel suite and we're gonna do it up right...beach, shopping, playing with her H and baby D!
Plus, I'll still be back in time to visit my friend who is here from out of town on a looooong weekend, into next week. There's a great outdoor concert I want to take him to...
It's gonna be one of those weekends you talk about for years to come, I just have a feeling.
