I just wanted to pass along what he has told me. I think he is right. You do not want to be blind-sided.

Hi Steelers, I agree. As you know: knowledge is power.
Journaling: I had a lovely week-end. Yesterday in the afternoon I wanted to go to a festival but it was not what I expected. So I went to a nearby restaurant instead and just had a drink. Afterwards I met some GFs and we went to an event where I met quite a few people I knew.
Today in the afternoon I went on a guided tour in a park which opened recently. I enjoyed it very much. The weather was beautiful yesterday but late in the afternoon it was very windy. Today the sun was also shining in the morning, however, in the afternoon it was overcast again.
Your day sounded wonderful. Sounds like you live in a beautiful place.

Hi Steelers, Thanks for checking in on me. Yes, I do live in a beautiful place.
Journaling: I went sailing again today - yeah! It was a beautiful and warm day again, and I was just on the way to go swimming to a nearby town when my mobile rang. It was my "sailing guy" who asked me if I would like to come along. I was lucky that I was still in the area and could go immediately.
I don't particularly like it when the water spashes all over me and the boat is almost lying on its side in the water. The wind was quite strong in the afternoon, and so we were leaning right over. But it was still fun. Afterwards we went for a drink.
Later on I went to the beach but it was not warm enough anymore for a swim. However, I met a friend on the beach and we chatted for a long time. Then I sat in the garden until sundown. It is a beautiful evening with a red sky. Unfortunately, it is supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon and that's why I wanted to make the most of today.
When I sat in the garden I saw something H made a long time ago, and it made me so sad. I was doing fine for some days, but just today I miss him more. I keep thinking that I would rather be with H than some guy I hardly know (althought I appreciate it, of course that he takes me sailing).
I have not heard from H although I asked him to reply by return.
wow, the sailing sounds like a wonderful thing to do...I love reading your stories, they are always happy and fun ! Yes, it does sound like you live in a wonderful place, but I'm sure it's you that makes it what it is ! xxxx

Journaling: Yesterday it was not nice in the morning and I did some house chores. In the afternoon it got lovely again and I went for a short swim just before a strong gust of wind came up. The water however was almost too cold for me and I swam only for a very short time. Then I was soaking up the sun. A lady next to me said that we have to make the most of the nice days as there might be only a few left before autumn starts.
I also sent H birthday greetings.
Today I went to a museum with my sister, and the exhibition we saw was just beautiful. We enjoyed the day very much. It was a dull day and just right for visiting a museum.
I think you are doing some wonderful things. It is hard but it will get easier with each passing day.
