It does not affect her , but the way the cell people set it up, it would have been her on the hook for 2 more years. it's all good.
It does not affect her cuz she was keeping the phone anyways? Or it doesn't affect her cuz you got it fixed so she's on her old contract?
I agree with others that she is angry/scared/uncertain because of how you are moving away from her. I think she will be surprised when you ask to split things up.
