W returned home from her trip. While she was gone I painted the outside of the house. I know this was an issue with her because it wasn't finished from last year. That was one of my faults. I procrastinated in house repairs. She kinda noticed but didn't walk round to see the whole job done. We helped W unpack and listened to mommy's stories and watched TV. She had a good time but like she told the kids last night she's glad to be home with all of us. While she was gone, there was talk of going to a local "event" with her family once she got back. I knew she was tired and really didn't want to go. I even told her that we didn't have to but she made the choice to go. Now her family knows whats going on between us. It seemed as though she really wanted to go to see them. Yesterday however it seemed as though moments of the "old" W shone through. She was goofing around with me made the efforts to touch me etc. We had fun with the family.
Once we got home she turned off her phone and put it on her computer desk. I point this out because normally she would leave it on and keep it by her at all times. whether this continues or not we'll see. I had put her pillows back on the bed yesterday when we unpacked her stuff. Once the kids were in bed and we went out to the living room to watch the rest of the movie we were watching, she went in and got her pillows and blanket and brought them out to the couch. I continue to let her "make the moves" I'm still kinda detached and being nice.
I waited until she fell asleep last night and gave her a kiss on the head. I wonder if she knows I did that?
