Girlfriend! I've read every book you can think of...Languages of Love, 5 Languages of an Apology, How to get your Lover Back...Divorce Busting, Divorce Remedy, The Surrendered Wife...sheeeeeeeit! The list goes on and on...I have trouble though because I don't have him here to practice what I've learned...it pisses me off!
DITTO. Seriously. My nightstand is overflowing. I actually knocked two books off reaching for my alarm clock this morning. Yet he can't be bothered to look up stuff on google on us. Why is that? I haven't read the Proper Feeding book though. I've been leary of it, because that Dr. can bug me. But I might have to give it a chance. Hang in there.
You're right, our sitches are a lot alike. Everyone is different, but for my sitch I really think keeping that physical contact helped. And my H has done a HUGE turn around in the last 4 months. From first wanting nothing to do with me, to doing stuff with me, then making me feel like crap afterwards when he'd get weird and tell me he regretted it, to now where it's totally mutual, and he initiates just as much as me.
It was slow but steady progress, and I do think it's been a componant thats helped keep him questioning, and not filing yet. So if it feels good to you, and there isn't another woman, I say go for it!
