As for how my Mom's doing....... Not to well, actually. Since my bro left about a week ago I don't think I've talked to her when she didn't start crying. Today, her angst is over the "possible" hurricane in FL. They have lots of rain and strong winds where she's at on the East coast. She's lost electricity several times. She's always been terrified of storms and hurricane season lasts for several months in FL, unfortunately.
I told her that she's always welcome here for however long she'd like to stay but she stated that she's afraid to fly....
Yup, so Mom, which are you more afraid of? Planes or hurricanes?
I don't know how we're going to handle the holidays if she refuses to fly anywhere. All of us can't leave our families to be with her in FL.
