Jill, I'm with Karen on this one, I lost my dad at a young age and like so many things it's how you deal with it initally that is so very important. If you start out by tip toeing around the subject it could beome an uncomfortable and awkward subject. If you address the subject openly it will set the standard and make all special occasions in the future easier.
