I'll actually disagree with you here, Cinco. Perhaps some women want their man to have soft hands, but many women love a pair of strong, masculine hands, complete with callouses. It goes to the masculine/feminine dynamic: soft curves vs. hard muscles, soft, feminine hands with long fingernails vs. 'workman's' hands.

I know that my own wife misses the calloused, stronger hands of my youth, when I worked in the field and down in the plants, as compared to the softer, 'keyboard' hands that I have now from working in my comfy office at the university.

'Tis the price we pay for better pay. I also have to specifically "work out" now to stay in shape --> 'working out' used to simply be part of the job. That part, I miss.
