TD, Can't help you with the flooring, lol. I've never done it myself, but I have watched it on one of the home improvement channels.
You're an engineer right??? I'm betting that it won't be too much of a problem.
My H and I gutted and remodeled the 150 year old farmhouse that we now live in. It took 19 months. We did quite a bit of the work, but hired the floors done. We also did not live there while we were doing the work.
My H is a perfectionist. He, my g.f and I did all of the insulation. He would have a fit if the lettering on the insulation was not all right side up! Nothing that you ever see since it's covered by drywall...
Of course we f'd with him by purposely putting some in upside down!
Most of us are about as happy as we make up our minds to be.
