I do not want to hear about Long Hot summer. Ours was the soggiest, coolest, cloudiest summer EVER. It is official!

But today is lovely, not as hot as normal but we're used to it. Josh and I played Scrabble on the beach. The water is so high that our feet were in it as we played - but that's ok. It was pleasant.

Summer in Canada has to keep us going for many long, dreary months. Good thing I go south in the winter or I'd go crazy.

I know that this will be a bittersweet week for you with Ry leaving, but it will be good to get back on somekind of routine, won't it? Besides, before we know it, Thanksgiving will be here.........Oh goody!

Cait bought her books the other day $800 smack-a-roos...YIKES! I have never paid that much for books for any of them before. I think when I was in school they were about $50.00 hahahaha! Wonder how much cribb notes go for now a days.........

K: Well it was about 80 at the cottage today but of course - I was leaving! The humidity was extremely high. I was Sweating Buckets (or shall I say "perspiring", after all, I am a LADY!) as I packed up the car and trod up the hill each time. Drove through a fierce thunder storm. Gosh - seem to have one every day this summer. But I'm home sweet home now and my baby cats missed me so much. Got a mouth full of fur when I picked up Blu!

We get there, different paces but we do- who would of thunk it too. Its really amazing , when I think back to coming to the board, wow we were all so upset and confused and angry, its really something watching each other fall down and get back up and finally getting to the point we are so OK with what happend.

We are very much like a family of sorts.
