glam,

It's wonderful that your H found a job and that he wants you to join him on the business trip!!

It sounds like both of you really enjoyed your conversation. That is a real brakthrough for you both.

And it's positive that he's helping around the house, and that he's going to help you financially. bet his being able to help will make him feel happier too. Providing for the family is one of the 4 major things that mean alot to a man.

Keep up the good work.

But that has changed & I'm working on getting closer to God & also turning it all over to Him, He is in control.

nlt,
Thanks for asking. I am hanging in there. I have my moments each day. Still praying hard and doing my best to get close to God and just trsut and love Him for who He is. Really enjoying the Moody Radio broadcasts.

I am so glad to hear that you started to pray again. Pray for yourself to become close to God, and for your H to become close to God as well. That is what should matter in the end.

Yesterday, a coworker was talking to me about different things happening in our workplace and I told him that they didn't make a difference to me. He was surprised and realized that I was discouraged at work.

The day before that I had asked him for feedback on my work to pass on to my boss. When he realized that I didn't feel appreciated at work, he told me he had intended to give very good feedback to my boss. I got so emotional from feeling discouraged at work that I started tearing up.

He also suggested I talked to my boss' boss about my unhappiness at work. He was concerned that I would leave.

Then a few minutes later, he wrote me a very impressive feedback email and cc'ed my boss and my boss' boss. It really made me cry that he took the time and trouble to make sure these people knew his high opinion of my contribution at work.

I guess God sent me an angel at work yesterday, which I really needed.

Steelers,
Thanks. Only 1 person has noticed and REALLY appreciated. This place is very competitive. There are people who would refrain from giving good feedback for fear of it affecting their own performance ranking. Everyone is ranked relative to everyone else. That's why.

And I do have to be grateful and will be grateful and will thank God for this one person who showed appreciation.

Sounds like a very high pressured and cut-throat type of place to work. Good thing you don't have ulcers!!

Steelers, Yep, It's high-pressured and cut-throat for sure. True that I don't have ulcers but I have tight shoulders and teeth-grinding \:\)

BTW, I am reading Aug 14th's Charlyne Cares and this really struck me:
God has many ways to get your spouse's attention, if you will be obedient to the Lord's Word. I hope you will read Jonahs' prayer of repentance to God in Jonah Chapter 2. Dear stander, my concordance says: "Believers should never give up hope in seemingly impossiblesituations." .....
Will you stand for you marriage with the joy of the Lord and not in misery or depression? What an honor to have been called by the Lord to pray and fight for your marriage forever. God has a mighty plan for you and for your family. Do you want to suffer the consequences of disobedience in your future? You will be blessed if you obey the Lord in all things.

Those emails are so timely. As if they are personally written, too!
