Trusting, I'm sorry this has to be a worry, too. It is not something you should have to be concerned about.

But if it does come to that, you could welcome him to the funeral as a friend. We have to work on being friends first, even when it is not easy. Not sure how to insist on it minus OW, but it sounds as if you could figure something out.
