I think the ILY is a big deal. Really. I remember my husband accidently saying that to me when we were getting off the phone in the very early days of our separation. It was funny listening to him stammering after saying that. I just said, "ILY2" and hung up. Wow. Have fun at the rave. Totally not my thing, but I'd love to see a picture of the outfit. I'm figuring out FB. So, yes, I'll post pictures. I may not be able to go stark raving crazy like I planned. I thought that Grandma#3 was going to take the kids for the weekend while she remembers our conversation differently and is not available. So, I'm looking at other options and I have to do some work at midnight on Saturday - Sunday, but, I'm still pretty interested in going and there is virtually no chance of it selling out. So, we shall see.
Thanks ladies for the info on the ILY. At first it was more awkward to not say it, but, I needed to go through that as in the past I would bust on my W when she wouldn't reciprocate. Now, it pops out every so often and scores.

What's weird is when I look at pictures from last year's Skylab and raves in different cities, it looks to me like it is mostly the women that are peacocked up. The men seem to be interchangeable in jeans and t-shirts with maybe some glow in the dark sunglasses.
I can't decide on what color for the hair though. Silver seems so tame. Well, we'll see.
I'm thinking that because of your age (sorry) the silver would be a nice touch.

Hey now bug, all the hot young girls at the bar think I'm in my mid twenties. I'm well preserved.
That said, the rave is a 16 and older show so no matter what happens I'm going to look positively ancient to most of the crowd. One of the venues is set up specifically for the old folks that want to drink booze, but, we'll see.
Purple and silver would be cool. I'll have to think how I can set that off in the rest of the outfit.
