Saw that lady from BC on the news who was mauled by the bear last week - horrible! And I saw the 2 bears they shot. That was horrible too.
Here, we are not even supposed to fill our bird feeders or leave our bbq unbrushed. I stilll fill the feeders much to the delight of the raccoons and squirrels. I have yet to have a close encounter with a bear but every year one gets into someone's cottage or roams downtown.
Home is different. I have lots and lots of bunnies in my yard. I see 3 or 4 every day. I know they're destructive but I don't care. They're so darn cute.
The deer I had in the yard here last week was just the best. I was SO excited about that. This week I've seen lots of different birds and even a mink!
