Saffie's birthday's over. Did he really not give you anything for the birthday? Was the vacation in France part of the present? Maybe you went out to dinner. I sort of messed up my birthday present this year. He was out of town on business for my birthday and was making an effort to choose a gift. But I knew of a necklace I wanted, and went ahead and ordered it, paying out of my personal money. Then nothing else looked as good as the necklace. So that's my present. Except I paid for it. we'll have to discuss it at some time. We did go out to dinner twice for the birthday. Once by ourselves and once with D23 when she visited. And that visit was a birthday present for me too.
