IMHO, you're right where you need to be.

Sadness is part of it, but what would a full life be without sadness?

My Dad told me when I was a little girl--"You will have a hard life, cause you're like me--you feel everything. You will feel the deepest pain, but the reward is you will also get to experience the most amazing joy. I hope you don't shy away from it--cause they're two sides of the same coin. You're LUCKY that you can experience those emotions."

And now I realize he was right--I can't trade the painful parts for the joyful parts, because they're yin and yang--they need each other.
