Things are pretty good with me. We took D16 and two of her friends camping for the weekend (I have had enough of teenage girls for a while! Sheesh!) W and I had fun riding bikes through the woods and canoeing on the lake.
W's job is continuing to stress her out, to the point that she is working on her resume ATM. I am continuing to support, encourage, validate, and be patient.

It's really a great series. *Clean* too, which is abnormal for teen books these days. There isn't any "sex" until after marriage, and even then it's like the old Star Trek scenes with the Captain where you see them kissing and the camera pans away. *Very* intense, action packed...it's good stuff.
It's one of those gateway books--I got Twilight into some of my "I hate reading" kids' hands, and they were hooked and started to love reading.
She should read the series, although you will get really sick of hearing about Edward.

I have never heard of this series! I must have an aabnormal teen. Of course, I have a teen who is in drama choir and addicted to musicals, so instead I have to put up with her watching them all the time.

Read a little about the series in Entertainment Weekly a couple of weeks ago. D16 would probably love them, not sure why she hasn't gotten sucked in to the craze (so to speak).
