Sawks, it does bring some relief when there is someone there that takes your mind off the pain of a broken relationship. I think the reason you need to take it slow, though, is so that you don't make the same mistakes in the previous relationship. Also, avoidance doesn't make the nasty stuff go away, it just buries it. And eventually, it comes out to rear its ugly head.
You have been working hard on yourself, so I think what we are all trying to say is you should continue to do just that. Don't get into anything serious, and yet don't hurt this new woman either. Make sure you are up front with her. Take things very slow, because not only are you just getting to know her, you are really just getting to know yourself too!
No avoidance, none. We are going to get what needs to be done, done. Period. I was very up front with new girl, she knows the sich, and we go from there. Yes I agree I am just getting to know me.. and now her as well.. slow is the word o the day!
