we were talking about the cats...i had to take my 2 to the vet, and i was telling her about the new vet who was there...a woman...and i sort of stumbled over my words and she says "What, did she hit on you or something?" I answered No..and went on to tell her how good this vet was...
why does she automatically go right to me being hit on....wtf...

the trip to the park sounds great! Awesome job just hearing her about the stomach problems without trying to solve it for her. Also, the bit about being hit on--she is wondering. Want to know why? Cause she is seeing the changes, knows they are attractive to others, and is going to wonder if it is changing how you feel about her.

alright...i'm goign to believe you ladies that's why she brought it up because she said tonite when we talked that "we need to think about how we are going to do the holidays at some point" to which i responded yep.......she asked "what's wrong" and i said nothing...and i'm sitting here thinking...it's august 10th...why are you worring about the holidays now???? this is probably her thought process because she is pulling back.....anyone agree????

Neil, you KNOW better than to try to understand her! I would say that maybe it is because she is pulling back, or it may be because she is testing the waters to see what you are going to say. Who knows why a WAS does and says what they say.

just go with the flow- talk about it and see what she says- dot predict. ACT AS IF- she will say- we will spend it together...then you will go in with a good mind set..instead of the opposite.
i agree- dont try to read anything of what she says...i think it is actually good...she is contemplating a lot...just be there for her when she wants you. thats all. do what you did at the park- dont try to fix anything..just listen.

Neil, there's four types of personalities. Red, Blue, Yellow & White. Simply put, blue people plan the Holidays in August, they are very organized & think way in advance. My daughter is blue. She going into 9th grade, but is already thinking about which classes she needs to take to get into her college of choice. My S12 is yellow. Life is a party, every second, every day. Why worry about tomorrow when today is so much fun. He'd lose his head if it wasn't attached. Do I worry about why they think the way they do....heck no.
If you're wondering why she's worrying about the holidays now.........ASK HER. Maybe she's a blue person.
