For the Guy with Kids and a WW 9

I got no problem watching chick flicks. They're usually easy on the eyes. And hey, if it got GBG in the mood, then all the better!

It depends on if I make it to the concert. I'll see how the day goes.

I can't wait to get my kids on Sunday. They'll be with me all week and then we're off to the coast for the weekend. GBG will really start to feel it next week, I hope, but S14 should be with her next week, except for Wed and Thurs. He decided to come stay with me those days and nights.

I hope he brings his drums from his aunts house. I told him he could keep them here now that I have the room. He could always invite his buddy's over to spend the nights and practice. Time to put my air drum skills to use.

And I feel like beating some skins.

I got home today and did some cleaning around the house. Dusting, vaccuming. Just finished the yard. I am pooped.

While cutting the yard, D11 texts me,

Hi Daddy we love you very much
LOVE JULI AND AMANDA

I didn't realize I got it until I was finished and inside resting. I replied,

'Sorry ladies, I was outside cutting the yard. Daddy loves all of ya'll too. Hope ya'lls day is going GRREAT! Hey. I sound like Tony the Tiger :)'

She sent back,

'Thats funny. I miss you alot daddy cant wait till sunday Love Amanda'

So I sent,

'I miss ya'll a lot too baby girl. I cant wait for Sunday either. I love you so much. We can be strong because I know God watches over all of us.'

She sent back,

'We are getting a new bunkbed it looks cool
Amanda'

I sent,

'Wow. You must be excited. I bet they ARE cool if I know mom.

This must be boring, but I love it.

I miss them so much. GBG just seems to be loaded right now. I can't imagine where she is getting all the funds.

I pray it is her mother, but something tells me otherwise.

I just woke up. D11 woke me up with another text. I think that makes like 15 for today.

Nanny Diaries, right? I'll need to get to the vid store. What time? It is straight up 7pm here.

I had to talk to GBG tonight. Ask about tomorrow. Since I don't think that she is attending church anymore, its been like a month, if I could take the girls to church with me.
"Hello."
"Hi. How are you?"
"Good. Just finished dinner and starting to straighten up."
"Listen, I wanted to ask if it would be ok to take the girls to church with me."
"Yeah. Thats fine."
"Thanks. I can get them back to you right after and then get them later if you want."
"Whatever. I just plan on going over to moms tomorrow to do some laundry."
"Ok."
"Can you bring Austin?"

Austin is another puppy. They already have Pup there.
"Take Austin?"
"Yeah, I can keep them both here."

"Oh wait. The girls are going with you. It'll just go back."
"Yeah, uh, I don't think I should take it. The girls are going to be here."

We talk about what time and such. I say ok, to try to not have a conversation with her.
"Okay, I'll be there at 10:30. Thank you."
"Do you want to talk to the girls again?"
"Yes. Thanks."

Light conversation, but I didn't want to start to chit chat. I was tempted but resisted.

I guess there'll be a time and a place sometime to test the waters. But its too soon I think.

I was worried that OM helped her bring the bunk beds and mattress's to the apartment. I didn't straight out ask D11, but I joked about the mattresses flying off the Isuzu. She said no, it didn't. I asked if they tied it to the top, and she said, yeah.

I can't wait for tomorrow. The nice guy in me wants to ask if she needs help puting the beds together tomorrow. I know I shouldn't, but I don't want to take a chance that OM will go do it.
