Hi True!

Thank you so much for thinking of me today! I wish we had the cooling off laws here, I think that would have helped more than anything. Everything was so rushed.

I think my girl did sense it also, I cried just about all night last night. Both of my dogs have stayed really close to me today & last night also.

Thank you for the hugs!! I need them so much!!

I also need lots of prayers. It's been hard to keep praying, I know I have to but it's just hard.

Hi naej,

Yes, this is so new to me! You see stuff like this on the movies but not in real life! Well, I do know for a fact that the OW chased after him big time, of course he is not innocent either, he fell for it. She is a professional & he has never been around anyone like her. I'm not trying to make an excuse for him & I also know it's the MLC.

By the way, you are not being harsh & I really appreciate you & everyone else on here thinking about me & trying to help. This site has been a blessing to me & so have all of you!!!

I am trying to do what you say & get some rest, eat & get out. If I can I will try to mow the yard tomorrow, it's hard work & I will think about H the whole time b/c we used to work in the yard together.

I have been on 2 different kinds of AD since January of this year, right now they don't seem to be helping. I'm sure they are but this has hit me pretty hard.

I am looking after both my dogs, they make me!!! They will bark & pester me until I get up & feed them or let them outside. So, at least it gives me something to do. They need me as much as I need them. They are about 70 lbs each & you should see my lap at night, one on each side.

Thank you again so much for the support! (((HUGS)))

Nit just read the time line-boy that was mighty fast!! ah well marry in haste repent at leisure-not quite sure what they means.
A cooling off period would be invaluable.

I,m glad your dogs are giving you love and comfort. Mine pulled me through my darkest hours and gave me a reason to get out of bed in the mornings for the longest time and now he is old and poorly and I see the last link to my H slipping away.

God sees your pain and will hold you in the palm of His hand even if you cannot pray sometimes.
Are you managing to get some sleep.

My doctor had given me something when all this first started for panic attacks & told me to take only when I needed them. They make me sleep, so when I finally got to bed sometime this morning I did sleep. I was pretty out of it when my dog had her seizure but at least I heard her & remembered.

My oldest is 14 & has had some kidney failure, some better with that I'm taking her to a holistic vet & I believe it is helping her. My other dog is 7 & she is still looking for my H to come home. (She is the one he threatened to take from me & the mediator told him he walked out on the dogs & he would not have a chance to get them, he just wanted me to do what he wanted & he knew the dogs would get to me). The oldest my H found her & brought her home to me one month after my brother had died, so she is very special. Well the other one is very special also, I can't stand the thoughts of loosing either one of them, especially now.

I do think a cooling off period would have been great. He filed the week after he told me he wanted a D & wanted it over with by the end of last year but I wouldn't agree, he wanted to sell the house split everything 50/50 & not give me any alimony. I fought back, got alimony, the house & he paid all attorney's fees. He didn't get anything out of this except a D. I guess he told the OW that he was going to get a lot out of the sell of the house & I wouldn't sell. I saw an email from back in Oct. where he lied to her but he told his friend what really happened. So he has lied to her the whole time & I'm sure she has lied to him. While he was here, I'm sure she was sleeping around with other men.

Yes, the time line was mighty fast!!!!! There's going to be payback one of these days & he may not like it so well. God will take care of him, God said "Vengence is mine".

I so appreciate you being here for me & everyone else!!!

My C always told me that when they rush into another R that it won't last. They only know the good about each other and when the bad starts to come out it opens their eyes. His eyes will open!

YR,

He sure did rush into this, didn't he? Last year at this time we were together, I'm sure he was thinking about OW but we were together. I do think his eyes will open, I just can't believe he M her so quick. He & I dated 3 years! We wanted to get to know each other & make sure it was right. They have only be together full time since March!

Hi Vali!

Yes, I'm so shocked, this has really been a blow to me. I'm pretty sure it won't last but I didn't think he would be stupid enough to marry her so soon!

I'm sorry I haven't check out anyone's thread the last couple of days, I've just been so devastated. I'll try to get back on it soon.

I found this on the Charlyne site about a spouse remarrying and the LBS said they no longer knew what to pray any longer. Here is the response:

A remarriage is a difficult circumstance. I know this from personal experience. I remember something Bob wrote one time in one of his devotionals that has really helped me. "Your spouse is trying to connect their heart, emotions, feelings and soul to someone else's! They can never do it, because their heart made a covenant, a vow with you and God to be your spouse forever! Their heart will always be calling them home by the Holy Spirit." Maybe, jut maybe, that Holy Spirit conviction is working in your spouse's heart - especially at this time of the year.

Now is the time to really get into God's Word and pray for your spouse. Now is the time to call on God's mighty power. Let Him be your Great Physician and Wonderful Counselor. Continue to pray for the one you love - it can make all the difference.

"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." James 5:15016.

Pray that your spouse will obey the leading of the Holy Spirit. Pray that God will touch and change your his heart as He has touched and changed yours.

SF,

Thank you so much for this!!! You are right, I had no ideal what to pray for any longer.

I'm just so devastated right now, I'm numb. I kept praying & praying, I just never dreamed he would marry again especially so quickly.

This just seems like a nightmare that never ends.
