Trust me, I know. My H is pretty stand offish during all of this as well. I made a meatloaf last night and he took it out of the oven for me while I was bowling. When I came home, he told me how good it smelled. I offered him to take half of it since it's just me and D and he said he would love to but didn't know if it would go to waste since he'll be at work all day with this party he had to plan. He didn't want to bring it and throw it out. I didn't offer as a wife either, but as a friend since I would offer it to anyone. I've made lots of offers to always get declined as well but he's coming around more as I treat him like a friend and not as an H that needs to get his act together.
