I did end up emailing my H. I guess he read it because he called in the afternoon and asked me when I would be home from work. Told him I had a chiropractor appointment and would be home by 8pm. He said he'd drop by - at firt I thought he was inviting me to join them at a games place (where they can use a gift card I gave the boys). I asked if he saw his email or stepson's email, about the watch. He said yes, they were coming to pick up the watch. Then ended the call with "Thanks so much" - so formal and distant, I thought.
Anyway, they showed up a little after 8pm. They got here just when the handyman was leaving so at least he knows I wasn't lying baout the VM the other night.
We had alot of fun playing with our dog. I served the boys some ice-cream and candy. They loved that.
Found out that my H bought an electric balancing mat to work out and lose weight. I also noticed he looked at his phone tonight. I asked if he was expecting a call. He said "No". He did that with his phone the other night too... What's up with that? I was wondering if he's losing weight to impress someone...
Anyway, no attempt on his part to be affectionate. Got a small brief side hug when they left. Got warmer hugs from the boys. One of my stepsons hugged me SO tight, like he really didn't want to let go. They had stayed a little over an hour and the boys didn't want to leave at all. One of them said "See you in the winter."
I so pray that God is working behind the scenes on my H.
