She is 13 and stubborn, she is going to do what she wants too in this.

She is 13 and a teenager, you as her mother have to be more crafty, the old ways will not work as well if at all. Pleading with a 13 year old...

Is she a good kid? Good values? Sex, drugs and drinking, will or will not happen, do you trust her? Keep loving her and show her a good example.

I would stop telling her your thoughts about your husband, because chances are he is going to hear it from her.
