So, x came by yesterday to help me with the squeaky swamp cooler (which I had to listen to AGAIN all night as it wasn't fixed). And BIL (H of sister living w/ me) was in the backyard drinking a beer so he invited X to stay and join him. I wasn't very happy about that. Anyway.
So then on X's way out the door, he says he needs to talk to me about sleeping arrangements until school starts (in 2 weeks)... I was racking my brain trying to figure out what he could be lecturing me about. To make a long story short, X and OW are remodeling his house and have taken the roof off to build a second story. So as this is happening, there is no power at the house so he and the girls are staying at OW's rental. But it's too crowded. So he wants to have the girls on his nights until bedtime and then bring them over to my house to sleep. I said I'd do it wed nights as that is split night, but thurs/fri are MY nights to work late and hang w/ friends. Initially he said it would be til school started but then backpedaled to say it might have to be a few weeks into school as well...
After much thought I've decided that I DO want my girls to be able to sleep in beds, not on the floor. But I'm not changing my time... so X can come put the girls to bed at my house and sit in the living room waiting for me to get home whenever I get home as I'm not making any promises or giving myself a curfew... think that's rude???
