I don't think it is wierd--it is typical. IF they are in an EA, he is a source of comfort from what she sees as the confusion of life with you. A port in a storm, so to speak. As KellyJo said, and many others have posted all over DB, he is a bandaid and they get old and icky and eventually fall off. All yo ucan do is keep on keeping on, she will see the difference, I am confident in that.
