Sounds as if you being "happy" and not playing into her drama has thrown her off. Now the poor dogs will have to take the brunt of it.....how sad for them!
You know, they don't much like it when we change the dance. They like when they know that they struck a nerve with us, but somehow it doesn't have the same effext when we project an air of ambivilence.
It will be so much easier and much less "Drama filled" when she can't have a meltdown on the spur of the moment, because you won't be there for her to wail on!
